The programs identifies and provides education to vulnerable women in soap making and weaving as well as business management

 Food and Disease Prevention Support to Vulnerable and Disabled Women

The programs identifies and provides lifesaving food supplies to vulnerable and neglected old age women and disabled women and children.

 

Business Support Initiative

The program equips vulnerable women in small business skills, facilitates the establishment of group savings and provides vulnerable and marginalized women an interest-free loan for business.

 

Sustainable Livelihood Skills Training Program for Disadvantaged Women and Young Girls

 

Women Vegetable Garden Program

The program promotes food security and income generating amongst vulnerable and marginalized women through vegetable garden training and empowerment.

Food insecurity is a major concern in Liberia that exposes disadvantaged women and children especially girls to sexual exploitation and other forms of abuse. At FOWACE, we continue to work with various women and school groups on sustainable organic agriculture programs that give the women and the school children the opportunity to grow their own food. The women are able to selling some of their agricultural products to send their children to school and undertake other projects that empower them. Over 300 to 1000 women have benefitted from FOWACE` sustainable organic agriculture program.

 

Orphan Girl Child School Program

The program identifies orphan girl children who are unable to go to school due to lack of support and provides fees and educational materials for them.

 

Access to Justice for Women and Children Program

The program creates awareness in communities and schools about the rights of women and children, establishes Women Action Groups in various communities to provide support to women survivors of violence, Violence Reporting Networks in Schools. The program also provides local transportation fares, meal, and accommodation to survivors who want redress to their cases in court.
